Both Crystal Reports and Microsoft Access utilize the 32-bit ODBC connections, regardless of whether it's installed on a 64-bit machine.
- Install the Oracle client for 32-bit (again, regardless of the fact that it's a 64-bit machine) in order to have the necessary driver which Crystal Reports needs to access.
- Navigate to \\Windows\Syswow64\odbcad32.exe and double-click the odbcad32.exe to open it. This will utilize the 32-bit version rather than the 64-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator which is opened by default.
- Create the ODBC connection within the 32-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator, according to Step 7 of Configuring your connection to Biotics 5.
